ABOUT ME

I'm a multidisciplinary designer with skills across branding, print, digital and motion. I use my background in mapping and data analytics to bring a unique and curious perspective to my creative projects, characterised by playfulness, joy and a deep storytelling sensibility.

In a nutshell, I'm not just a designer – I'm your go-to ideas person, lover of bad jokes, and surprisingly not awful to be around, or so I've been told.*

CREATIVE VALUES

Curiosity
I've always been extremely curious, digging into why things, and people, work the way they do. This curiosity fuels my design process and gives me a constant hunger for learning and problem-solving. I believe that understanding the 'why' behind every detail leads to designs that not only look good, but also make an impact.
Unique perspective
Before I was a designer, I was a surveyor, a map-maker and a data analyst. This – let's be honest, unusual – range of experience gives me a unique approach to design, where I blend analytical, commercial mindset with creativity to bring a fresh perspective to every project.
Not a one-trick pony
A wide base of experience gained across freelance projects and in-studio has equipped me with a versatile design skillset. Whether it's print, digital, brand, or packaging, I bring a wealth of ideas and the ability to execute them seamlessly.
Being a smart-arse
I've always liked trying to be clever with words. This translates into a knack for crafting compelling copy that complements my design work, allowing brands to unfold with a unique tone of voice and aesthetic, enriched with the occasional, tasteful (in my opinion) pun.
